Otter Creek Labs OCM6 5.56

The Otter Creek Labs OCM6 is a 6mm bore, OPS/AE pattern suppressor built from titanium and Inconel. As the second generation of the popular OCM5, it pairs a DMLS 3D-printed 718 Inconel inner core with a machined titanium outer tube, making it light and strong. Compared to the original OPS 12 / AEM5, the OCM6 is 24% lighter (about 5 oz less) with no loss of strength and superior erosion resistance.

The biggest improvement is backpressure. The OPS 12, AEM5 and OCM5 are very quiet at the muzzle, but all share one drawback: gas coming back at the shooter. The OCM6 trades a little muzzle suppression for better suppression at the shooter's ear and much better gas management. Stand 10 feet away and the OCM5 will sound quieter, but to the person behind the gun the OCM6 is quieter thanks to less port pop.

The 6mm bore means you're no longer limited to 5.56 – run any 6mm round, including 6 ARC, 6 Dasher, 6mm Creedmoor and .243 Winchester – and 5.56 / .223 still works. All your existing OPS/AE and OCM5 mounts are cross-compatible. If you're building a Mk12, Gordon or 6 ARC Mk12-style rifle and don't want to get gassed out, this is the suppressor for it.
