Silencer Use & Care Instructions
RRAD 9 Flow & RRAD 22 Flow — thanks for registering. Here's your warranty summary and care instructions.
Warranty at a Glance
Every RRAD Silencer carries a Lifetime Limited Warranty to the original registered owner. Short version below — the full terms govern in case of any conflict.
- Registration required within 90 days of purchase to activate coverage.
- No-cost replacement (materials & labor) for defects or a baffle strike under normal use — you still cover the $25 Form 4 processing fee and shipping.
- $50 flat replacement fee for customer-caused damage — plus the $25 processing fee and shipping.
- $25 Form 4 processing fee on every replacement — waived if you provide your own EFT fingerprints and photo.
- Warranty covers the original registered owner only — it does not transfer to a new owner.
- Not covered: lost or stolen units, units registered after the 90-day window, units with an altered or illegible serial number, or units modified in violation of federal or state law.

Using & Caring for Your RRAD Silencer
Before You Attach It
- Confirm your ATF-approved transfer (Form 4, or Form 3 through your dealer) is complete and in hand before taking possession of or attaching the silencer.
- Confirm the serial number engraved on the unit matches your approved transfer paperwork.
- Inspect the unit for shipping damage before first use.
Mounting
- Confirm the mount and thread pitch match your host firearm before attaching.
- Hand-tight is sufficient — snug it down by hand; do not use tools to force it tighter.
- Recheck tightness after your first few rounds; a suppressor can seat and loosen slightly with initial use.
Firing
- A suppressor reduces, but does not eliminate, report — hearing protection is still recommended.
Cleaning
- No solvents, oils, or cleaning products needed — the RRAD's flow-through design is self-cleaning. Do not apply any solvent to the unit.
- Wipe down the exterior only if you'd like. Do not soak, immerse, or run the unit through an ultrasonic cleaner.
- Do not use high-heat drying methods.
Inspect Regularly
- Check for cracking, delamination, discoloration, or thread wear before and after use.
- Suspect a baffle strike (unexpected point-of-impact shift, unusual sound, or visible damage)? Safely unload the firearm first, then inspect the unit, then email warranty@safefirearmsales.com before firing it again.
- If a unit shows damage of any kind, stop using it and email warranty@safefirearmsales.com — see the warranty section above.
Storage & Transport
- Store in a dry location out of direct sunlight — UV exposure and extreme heat degrade polymers over time.
- Transporting across state lines or transferring the unit to a new owner requires ATF approval. Email warranty@safefirearmsales.com with questions before you transfer.
Never
- Never alter, grind off, or obscure the serial number.
- Never modify the unit in a way that could change its NFA classification.
