Silencer Warranty
SAFE Firearm Sales, LLC ("SFS") warrants each RRAD Silencer (RRAD 9 Flow and RRAD 22 Flow, all variants) to the original registered owner for the lifetime of the product, subject to the terms below. Every RRAD Silencer is individually 3D-printed, so every warranty replacement is a newly printed, newly serialized unit — see "How Replacement Works" below for what that means for you.
Registration Required
This warranty is contingent on registering your RRAD Silencer within 90 days of purchase, using the registration link provided with your unit. A unit not registered within this window is not covered under this warranty.
No-Cost Replacement (Materials & Labor)
SFS will print and provide a replacement RRAD Silencer at no charge for materials or labor for failures due to a defect in materials or workmanship, or for a baffle strike, when the unit was used under normal conditions and in accordance with the included instructions. The $25 Form 4 processing fee and shipping (see below) still apply — SFS covers the cost of the replacement unit itself, not the transfer and shipping costs required to get it to you.
Customer-Caused Damage — $50 Flat Replacement Fee
If a RRAD Silencer is damaged through misuse, mishandling, unauthorized modification, or other customer-caused damage not covered above, SFS will still print and provide a replacement unit for a flat $50 fee, covering materials and labor, plus the $25 Form 4 processing fee and shipping.
SFS reserves the right to deny or limit a claim, or to require the $50 fee in place of a free replacement, where a unit shows a pattern of repeated damage inconsistent with normal use. This determination is made at SFS's sole discretion.
Not Covered
The following are not eligible for replacement under this warranty, at no cost or the $50 fee:
- Units not registered within 90 days of purchase — see "Registration Required" above.
- Lost or stolen units — this is a loss, not a warranty claim.
- Any unit whose serial number has been altered, removed, ground off, or is illegible.
- Any unit modified to circumvent its NFA classification or otherwise used or altered in violation of federal or state law.
How to File a Claim
Email SFS at warranty@safefirearmsales.com with your RRAD Silencer's serial number, proof of purchase, and a description of what happened. SFS will determine whether the claim qualifies for a free replacement or the $50 fee, or falls under one of the exclusions above.
You must contact SFS at warranty@safefirearmsales.com and receive authorization before shipping your unit to SFS for any warranty work. Do not ship a silencer to SFS under any circumstances without first emailing warranty@safefirearmsales.com — unauthorized shipments will be refused and returned at the customer's expense.
Returning the Original Unit
The original unit must be returned to SFS as a condition of receiving a replacement, whether the replacement is free or via the $50 fee. SFS will inspect the returned unit, document its condition, and properly dispose of it consistent with ATF requirements. Units must be shipped to SFS in accordance with applicable NFA transfer procedure. Do not ship a suppressor to SFS under any circumstances without first emailing warranty@safefirearmsales.com and receiving authorization and shipping instructions.
Shipping & Processing Fees
The customer is responsible for all shipping costs related to a warranty claim, in both directions: shipping the original unit to SFS for inspection, and shipping the replacement unit back once it is ready. Shipping costs are calculated at actual cost and invoiced separately; do not ship a suppressor to SFS without first emailing warranty@safefirearmsales.com for instructions.
The customer is also responsible for a flat $25 Form 4 processing fee on every warranty replacement, regardless of whether the replacement itself is provided at no charge or under the $50 fee. This fee reflects the cost SFS incurs when filing the required Form 4 through a third-party processing service. This fee is waived if the customer provides their own EFT fingerprint file and photo, allowing SFS to file the Form 4 directly at no cost.
Cost Summary
No-cost replacement (defect or baffle strike): $25 processing fee (waived if customer provides their own EFT fingerprints and photo) + actual shipping (both directions)
Customer-caused damage: $50 replacement fee + $25 processing fee (waived if customer provides their own EFT fingerprints and photo) + actual shipping (both directions)
How Replacement Works
Because every RRAD Silencer is an individually serialized NFA firearm, a "replacement" is not a repair to your existing unit — it is a newly manufactured suppressor with its own new serial number. This means every replacement, whether free or via the $50 fee, requires a new ATF transfer (Form 4, or Form 3 if processed through a dealer) before it can be shipped to you. This is a federal legal requirement, not an SFS policy choice, and SFS does not control ATF processing time. Please plan accordingly — a replacement is not immediate.
Ownership & Transferability
This warranty extends to the original registered owner of the RRAD Silencer and is not transferable to a subsequent owner, including through a private NFA transfer, unless SFS agrees otherwise in writing.
Limitation of Liability
EXCEPT AS EXPRESSLY STATED IN THIS WARRANTY, THE PRODUCT IS PROVIDED "AS IS," AND SFS DISCLAIMS ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
SFS'S TOTAL LIABILITY UNDER THIS WARRANTY WILL NOT EXCEED THE PURCHASE PRICE OF THE PRODUCT. SFS IS NOT LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING FROM THE USE OF THE PRODUCT, TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. SOME STATES DO NOT ALLOW LIMITATIONS ON IMPLIED WARRANTIES OR THE EXCLUSION OF INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, SO THE ABOVE LIMITATIONS MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU. THIS WARRANTY GIVES YOU SPECIFIC LEGAL RIGHTS, AND YOU MAY ALSO HAVE OTHER RIGHTS THAT VARY FROM STATE TO STATE.
